The Past, Present, and Future of Casting Practices in Canada
Field Trips
As part of this project’s focus on Shakespeare and casting, some of the team has gone on several outings, or “Field Trips,” to attend productions of Shakespeare, adaptations of Shakespeare, and plays inspired by Shakespeare and his legacy. Our first field trip began with a group trip to Stratford, Ontario, in August 2020, where Marlis, Hope, and Liam attended the Stratford Festival’s productions of All’s Well That End’s Well, Hamlet, and Hamlet-911. Since then, they have attended many shows in various venues, both as a group and separately. This page is an archive of these outings and will display photos taken at these productions. Visit our Field Notes page to read reviews and pieces inspired by some of these productions.
