Patricia Allison is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and producer. In 2018 she co-won a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Best Director in Independent Theatre. Patricia Studied contemporary dance at l’école danse contemporaine de Montréal, from which she
graduated from in 2007, and she earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from York University in 2019. For her thesis research Patricia studied canonical counter-discourse and adaptation theory. Patricia
was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in April of 2017 and is a vocal advocate for Disability representation in the arts and Disability artists. Patricia is a Producer with Generator, a Toronto-based innovation and mentorship incubator, and a member of the Shakespeare in the Ruff Leadership team. This summer she is reimagining Shakespeare’s Richard III in a Disability focused multiverse piece titled Richard Three.
