Liam Donovan is the senior editor of Intermission, an online performing arts magazine based in Toronto. His arts and culture writing has appeared in Maisonneuve, THIS Magazine, and NEXT Magazine, where he was recently the primary theatre critic for a year and a half. At the 2025 undercurrents festival in Ottawa, he directed the world premiere of Anthony Palermo’s She, Man & The Giant F*cking Snake, a solo drag musical about a shapeshifter on the run through the multiverse. During his undergrad at the University of Toronto, he was a creative lab assistant at the Digital Dramaturgy Lab_squared and an archival assistant at the medieval drama company Poculi Ludique Societas.
