Cassandra Henry
Undergraduate Research Assistant (2020-2021)
Cassandra Henry is a graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory Theatre Program. Since then, she has acted and participated in numerous indie projects including Just Pervs with fellow alumni from York, a project called Seeding the Future alongside Obsidian Theatre and CBC Arts anthology series 21 Black Futures and most recently the play BOOM written by isi bhakomen. These projects have allowed her to be featured in articles on both CBC Arts and The Toronto Star’s websites, as well performing in the Toronto Fringe Festival and Paprika Festival. She is extremely passionate about acting, singing, swimming, holistic/energy healing and linguistics, as well as working with and helping children. She aims to research, experience, participate in and create art that showcases a diverse, creative, joyful and professional community. As well as helping other heal from generational trauma and traumatic situations through the practice of holistic and energy healing.
