Hello! My name is Celine and I am a fourth year student currently studying theater at York
University. Since I was young, performing has been a huge passion of mine. Growing up a POC
woman in theater, it has become a priority for me to help find ways to make sure that every
single person, no matter where you come from, has a place in theater. Through my position as a
research assistant, and in my own general life, I hope to be a light to other people who have been
stuck in darkness for far too long. I am always open to learning and continue to try and improve
my understanding everyday.
